I have written over the last couple months about our plans for Las Vegas. We have a lot of things that are still undecided. What we have landed on is trying to “be” the Church rather than “build” a church. Last week we launched our website for what we are doing. It is called www.stripchurch.com. You can also find it at www.jesuslovessincity.com.
This is my last post for a while. Neue is rotating in a bunch of new people that will be blogging on the site. I am sure I will be back around at some point. To keep up on what we are doing, you can visit the sites above. On the site, you will see a list of the things that we are doing now. We are doing ministry in brothels, conventions, strip clubs and on The Strip. You will also see a button on the site that says SERVE. One of the ways that we plan on funding the ministry is by sharing the experience in Las Vegas with others. You can sign up for a number of trips on the site. We have trips for groups and individuals.
One of our first shows is the World Series of Poker convention that is happening this July. We are also working on a trip that will be an Extreme Makeover sort of trip at a brothel that we have a relationship with. We plan on fixing up the area in one of these brothels that the women live in. It is going to be amazing.
