There is a lot going on right now and nobody would fault you for scrambling from news article to news article, trying to get a handle on the state of the world in the throes of a pandemic. The situation here in the U.S. is evolving rapidly, as mayors and governors issue orders to remain inside while President Donald Trump gets caught up in his usual vendettas.
All of that is appropriately frightening and we should take it seriously. But no one can live on COVID-19 news alone and it’s just as important to take in moments that are good for your mental and emotional health. Moments, for example, like this video from a shepherd named Suzanna Crampton, who is self-isolating with a bunch of big, happy sheep in the sun-dappled apple orchards of the Irish countryside.

It’s not exactly news, but it is a few minutes of counterprogramming from the chaos and terror spreading across the globe.
