In what may already be obvious to anyone who has hung around really positive—or really negative—people, new research has found that moods are contagious.
A public health statistics researcher at University of Warwick, where the study was conducted, told CBS Miami, “Evidence suggests mood may spread from person to person via a process known as social contagion.” That means if your mood expresses things like a lack of interest or helplessness at work, your coworkers may soon experience the same thing.
The good news is, positive moods also spread, so, remember to do your part. Your friends will thank you for it.
