If you ever felt like you were doing too much, just take a look at Connor Price’s life.
The former child actor turned TikTok star turned musician wears many hats — and wears them well. From acting alongside Russell Crowe in Cinderella Man to racking up hundreds of millions of Spotify streams, Price has mastered reinvention. But beyond the viral hits and big-name collaborations lies a deeper journey of self-discovery, faith and finding balance.

A Pivot From Screen to Stream
To many, Price’s rise to musical prominence might look like an overnight success, but his journey has been anything but.
His career began as a child actor, following his siblings into the industry. After early breakthroughs, including a lead role in Canadian TV series X Company, Price found himself in a holding pattern when the pandemic hit.
“The last few years have been crazy,” he said. “I’d been acting since I was six, and while I loved it, the pace was so slow. Then COVID shut everything down. The life of an actor is full of ups and downs.”
Faced with a standstill, Price pivoted to TikTok—but not in the way you’d expect. Instead of chasing trends, he combined his acting chops with his budding passion for music, crafting skits that hooked viewers before introducing his songs.
“The speed at which it exploded was insane,” Price said. “It was the opposite of my acting career, which was a slow climb. Social media just works differently.”
His creative formula — relatable skits with his wife, Breanna, and visually compelling music videos — struck a chord. Fans showed up, Spotify streams surged, and Price found himself on a new creative path.
The Balancing Act
Now, as Price’s music career has taken off, he’s learning to juggle his passions for acting, music and family.
“The music stuff has taken over, but acting is still something I want to balance,” he said. “Luckily, I can do so much from home right now, which is a huge blessing.”
His collaborative spirit has also helped him thrive in a crowded music landscape. From rapper Hoodie Allen to country star Walker Hayes, Price’s partnerships feel authentic and intentional.
“It’s always organic,” he said. “I’m adamant about keeping my music clean and authentic, so it has to feel right.”
One standout collaboration with Hayes started on TikTok when the country star and his daughter danced to one of Price’s tracks. “He DMed me after I commented on his post, and before long, we had a song together,” Price said. The result, “Smoke,” showcases the ease with which Price merges genres and styles.
A Spiritual Search
Price’s professional success is clear, but his spiritual journey is far more complex. Raised Catholic, Price drifted from his childhood faith as he grew older.
“I wasn’t identifying as a Christian, but I wasn’t an atheist either,” he explained. “I was in this in-between space for years, and it just didn’t sit right with me.”
Recently, he decided to confront his uncertainty. “I bought a Bible this year—it sounds simple, but it was a big step for me,” he said. “I don’t have all the answers, but I’m searching. I want to know what I believe rather than just coast through life.”
Collaborating with faith-centered artists like Forrest Frank and Nic D. has also influenced his journey. “Their faith is so grounded, and it’s made me think about where I stand,” he said. “I want my music to reflect who I am, but to do that, I need to figure out what I believe first.”
Staying Grounded
For Price, staying true to himself means knowing when to say no. With a growing family (baby No. 2 arrived in December) and a packed schedule, he’s focused on not stretching himself too thin.
“I’ve had to turn down opportunities because they’d take me away from home and family,” he said. “I’ve been lucky to set things up so I can do a lot from home, and I’m really grateful for that.”
Even as he preps for a new tour and takes on acting roles, Price is clear about his priorities. It’s not just about streams or fame—it’s about creating content that resonates and living intentionally.
“It’s weird; for so long, I was okay not knowing where I stood on faith and purpose. But now, I want to know. I’m excited to see where this journey leads,” he said.
For fans, Price’s honesty about his struggles, doubts and pursuit of clarity is a big part of his appeal.
“I think people connect with my music because I’m not pretending to have it all figured out,” he said. “We’re all just trying to figure it out, right?”
Price might not have all the answers yet, but his openness to the process is what makes him worth following. Whether he’s making music, acting or navigating faith, he’s doing it all with authenticity.
