Back in 2006, a CBS News poll found that nearly 15 percent of Americans—that’s 40 million people—read the Bible or other religious texts on a daily basis. That’s an impressive number, but it’s nothing compared to how many people now regularly check Facebook. As this AP story points out, in the US and Canada alone 143 million people read their Facebook newsfeed every single day. The story also gave this interesting bit of trivia: If you printed out all 400 billion pictures uploaded to the social networking site by users on regular size pieces of paper, they would “reach to the moon and back 34 times” …
