The FDA Approves Morning-After Pill for Ages 15 and Up

The Food and Drug Administration has announced that the Plan B morning-after pill will be moving out from behind the counter, and will be available to women and girls fifteen and over. The announcement flies contrary to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius’s 2011 decision to require girls under sixteen to obtain a prescription before buying the pill.
