Amidst a corruption scandal involving several members of FIFA leadership, the longtime president of the international soccer organization has said that he is stepping down. At a press conference, Sepp Blatter—who was just re-elected to the position last week—announced the move, saying “I have deeply reflected on my presidency and my past 40 years at FIFA.
