Man Sets House on Fire Trying to Kill Spider, Which Is Forgivable.

This Seattle man has not released his name to the press, but his plight is an understandable one. In trying to kill a spider in west Seattle rental home, he took to it with extreme prejudice: a lighter and a can of spray paint. Extreme measures for extreme times. During the course of his fiery assault, he ended up setting his house on fire, causing about $60,000 worth of damages. That’s a lot of money but, be honest, doesn’t a small part of you understand his plight? The Red Cross certainly does, and they’re putting him up while he searches for a new, hopefully spider-free home. Local news reports that, “It’s unclear if the spider survived” …
