New Travel Channel Show Is an Entire 12-Hour Road Trip in Real-Time

What’s more thrilling than being a passenger in a car for 12 consecutive hours on a seemingly never-ending road trip? How about watching the same 12-hour trip on TV. Inspired by Norway’s slow TV phenomenon (in which millions of viewers tune in to hours of knitting, train rides and other real-time non-events), the Travel Channel will air a special called Slow Road Live on Nov. 27, Black Friday.
