Yesterday, a little-known electronic outfit called The Knocks posted a photo of a very well-known electronic outfit called Daft Punk, sans their helmets. Of course, the air of mystery surrounding Daft Punk is one of the more impressive feats of the modern age, since they’ve kept their faces successfully under wraps for well over a decade. In the age of the Internet, that’s quite an achievement. But the magic is gone now. The Knocks deleted the photo shortly after they published it, with an ALL-CAPS apology, so you know it was sincere. But the Internet is forever. Not so lucky anymore …
