Private Investigator Claims He Has Proof of OJ Simpson’s Innocence

In a potentially explosive new book with an appropriately explosive title (O.J. Is Innocent and I Can Prove It) a private investigator named William C. Dear releases the findings of his 18-year investigation into the murder trial of O.J. Simpson. While public opinion has always ruled that Simpson’s celebrity got him off the hook for the infamous 1994 deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, Dear’s new book alleges that it was actually Simpson’s son, the then-24-year-old Jason, who committed the murders.

The book purports to be an exhaustive study, comprised of evidence that “will lead to the convening of a special grand jury, an arrest, and a conviction for these senseless murders.” In it, he does uncover some compelling evidence about the younger Simpson’s mentally unbalanced state, history of violence, possible motive and lack of alibi. He also presents evidence suggesting the elder Simpson knew his son was guilty and sought to protect him.

If Dear is right about this, it wouldn’t be his first time. His private sleuthing solved the murder of an Ohio man named Dean Milo in 1980. In the meantime, O.J. Simpson has been in jail since 2008 for robbery, and his son’s whereabouts are unknown …
