Following a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign, in which fans of the prematurely-canceled detective show Veronica Mars donated millions of dollars for a film-version to be made, star Kristen Bell hinted that a return to TV may still be in the works—sort of. In an interview with CNN from Comic-Con, Bell said that she’d love to continue the project beyond the fan-funded film. “Star Trek did it. They did a TV show and then nine movies. Who knows? Why can’t we make a couple films? Or continue to produce content of Veronica Mars?” When asked if the show could receive a second life on Netflix (a la Arrested Development), Bell said that it is something they are “already investigating” …
