Landmines kill between 15,000-20,000 people each year. And they’re also expensive and dangerous to get rid of, so millions of them remain in the ground across the world. That’s what led one Afghan man to create this bamboo, iron and plastic device that can help clear landmines and warn of dangerous areas.
