No doubt BP has plenty on its mind at the moment, what with having to repair the largest oil spill in U.S. history. But they probably still shouldn’t have put up a picture of the oil spill command center that was Photoshopped.
Here’s a cool slideshow about one community’s efforts to try to stop the spread of the oil spill in their area.
So it looks like the oil spill is going to take years and it’s going to take several months before a reserve well (that will actually fully stop the leak) will be in place.
BP has successfully installed a cap over the gushing oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. They’re not sure it’s going to work yet, but are hoping this might be the solution to stopping the leak.
