This Fake Cracking Glass on a Mountain Skywalk Is the World’s Most Terrifying Prank

BY RELEVANT LIFE October 11, 2017

In China’s Hebei Province, just outside of the Handan city in the East Taihang Mountains, there is a glass bottomed skywalk that allows tourist to stare straight down at the 3,870 feet of empty space between them and the ground. That’s a long way to fall but, of course, it would never happen. The odds are zero that the glass would ever crack, sending you careening to an early, distant grave. But unsuspecting travelers get a taste of it anyway, via LED special effects that make it look like the grass is cracking beneath your feet.

It’s not actually cracking, meaning you’re still perfectly safe. Except for the heart attack you just suffered.
