Watch Tebow Discuss the Work of His Children’s Hospital in the Philippines
Beyond his career as an athlete, Tim Tebow has long-been involved in missionary and humanitarian work in the Philippines, where his family has founded the Tebow CURE Hospital.
At a recent event, Tebow told the story of one of the hospital’s patients, a young burn victim named Jocy. Badly burned in a house-fire as a toddler, Jocy lost much of the use of her arms. In a short video, the CURE team shows how they were able to help the young girl, who otherwise couldn’t receive the medical treatment she needed.
So far, the hospital—which has been open for three years—has performed about 1,200 surgeries for children in need.
