Benedict Cumberbatch will play the tiger-villain Shere Khan in the other Jungle Book adaptation currently in the works—this one directed by Andy Serkis. As you may recall, Disney and Jon Favreau are also working on a live-action adaptation of the classic Rudyard Kipling book with its own impressive cast: Idris Elba (Shere Khan), Bill Murray (Baloo), Lupita Nyong’o (Raksha), Scarlett Johansson (Kaa), Giancarlo Esposito (Akela), Christopher Walken (King Louie) and Ben Kingsley (Bagheera).
