As any connoisseur of grocery store ice cream knows, the chunks of raw cookie dough found in pints of Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough are some of the best on the market. There is simply no arguing with this fact. A food blogger for Thrillist decided to find out how good the cookies themselves would be if he fished out the small pieces that had been marinated in the frozen goodness and actually baked them. The courageous snack scientist made it his mission to find out, “Are they actually, you know, cookie dough? Or are they some sort of weird, cookie dough-flavored concoction?” It turns out, they make for a pretty good batch of cookies. But that was simply a practice run to his main experiment: Baking an entire container of cookie dough ice cream on a cookie sheet. The results: “Pudding.
