Back in 2002, Damien Rice released O, which shot him from obscurity to one of the most highly regarded songwriters of the decade. But fame has been a fickle beast for the legendarily reclusive Rice, and he’s released only one true album since O: 2006’s 9. But today, he announced that he has a new album—called My Favourite Faded Fantasy—and a new single which we’ll apparently be released at some point today.
