Guardians of the Galaxy’s Groot has hit the big time. Comic maker Marvel has announced that everyone’s favorite talking tree will star in his own comic series. From Marvel: “When Rocket and Groot are on an intergalactic roadtrip and calamity strikes, the two get separated—and for the first time in years, Groot’s on his own!” Mashable spoke with Jimmy Kimmel Live! writer Jeff Loveness, who is penning the new series, about how he plans on tackling a comic book starring a character with such a limited vocabulary. “Being a comedy writer on TV, you make your living on words and turns of phrase and jokes.
