Kickstarter Goes to the Movies

Kickstarter is one of the Internet’s better inventions: a means of giving creative types who’d otherwise languish in obscurity the chance to convince others their dream is worth investing in. But Hollywood, ever one to smell money, has proven that the masses are just as willing to pay for the production of a film as the consumption of it.
