After removing an apple tree from his property in England, landscape designer Ashley Yeates was left with a massive hole in his yard. It was at this point that he had the same thought any sane person would when faced with the proposition of filling a gigantic dirt hole: Why not spend a year constructing an elaborately designed, custom built, fully functional Hobbit house? On his Tumblr, Yeates posted pictures of the building process and some pretty impressive images of the interior. It’s even got electricity.
