Another reboot is headed our way, this time with rapper Jack Harlow as the star.
Harlow has risen fast to the top over the last few years. His songs like “What’s Poppin” have risen to the top of the charts, and he’s been featured on numerous songs with Lil Nas X, Big Sean and most recently Kanye West’s DONDA 2. And now it looks like he’s heading to the theaters to make his acting debut in he upcoming reboot of the basketball comedy, White Men Can’t Jump.
Harlow will take on the role previously played by Woody Harrelson in the iconic movie about two street basketball players who come together to work their way to the top. The 1992 film starred Harrelson opposite Wesley Snipes and Rozie Perez as his girlfriend.
There’s no word on who else is starring in the remake, but the people behind the camera are interesting. Deadline reports that Brooklyn Nets player Blake Griffin is signed on as an executive producer, so maybe he can give Harlow some tips. Although, Harlow proved he has some basketball skills at the recent NBA All-Star Game.
