A new trailer for the upcoming Ben Affleck drama The Way Back has just released, and it is a tear-jerker.
The movie tells the story of a reluctant high school basketball coach, who battles addiction and grief while also attempting to inspire his struggling team. The trailer has everything you’d want from a great sports movie: Inspirational speeches, slo-mo jump shots, swirling music and the foundations of a great underdog story.
(Warning, it does contain some strong language.)
The Way Back (called by its UK name “Finding the Way Back” in this trailer) is directed by Gavin O’Connor, who made Warrior and The Accountant.
