Relevant Recommends: Five Songs You Won’t Want to Skip

There’s been an overwhelming amount of music coming out recently — some great hits and some easy skips. It can be hard to figure out which songs are worth hitting play on, but here’s five songs you’ll definitely put on repeat.

Cautious Clay – “Lip Service”

Cautious Clay’s first new music since 2021’s excellent Deadpan Love shows why he’s got an incredible future ahead of him. His EP, Thin Ice on the Cake, shows that Cautious is not only maturing as a person but also as an artist.

Chance the Rapper feat. King – “YAH Know”

Chance the Rapper’s upbeat new single is everything we didn’t know we needed. The rapper has been broadening his horizons lately when it comes to his projects, and it’s evident on “YAH Know.” There’s no way you can listen to this without getting at least a little hype.

Housefires – “Lean on the Lord”

Housefires is steadily releasing new music and we could not be more excited. With “Lean on the Lord,” the worship collective reminds us of the simple but necessary truth that God is always there to catch us when life feels chaotic and messy. It’s a message we all need to hear, regardless of where we are in life.

Dermot Kennedy  – “One Life”

Dermot Kennedy’s brand-new album Sonder dropped today and it’s full of hit after hit. But pay special attention to “One Life,” which shows exactly how and why Kennedy has become an artist on everyone’s radar. The poignant lyrics, the infectious beat, the stunning hook — it’s all we could ever ask for.

Remi Wolf – “Winter Wonderland”

We know, we know — it’s not technically Christmas yet. But Remi Wolf has released two fantastic covers of classic Christmas tunes, and they’re totally worth bending the rules for. You probably already know all the words to “Winter Wonderland” and “Last Christmas,” but Wolf’s spin will make you feel like you’re hearing it for the very first time.
