In case you kids don’t know, Naked Gun is a movie about an inept cop played by the late, great Leslie Nielsen. It came out about a hundred years ago. Well, the last one came out in 1994—a century in Hollywood years. And that’s just too long. So, plans are in motion to reboot the franchise with the very likable Ed Helms, but here’s a question: does anyone still want these reboots? Who out there just wakes up every morning, hoping a new version of their parents’ favorite movie will be made?
