Comedian Nate Bargatze Announces New Family-Friendly Content Company

Nate Bargatze is launching The Nateland Company, a family-friendly content company that promises to entertain audiences of all ages, today.

Based in Bargatze’s hometown of Nashville, The Nateland Company will feature comedic content on its YouTube channel, including stand-up comedy specials sketches, scripted content for film and television, podcasts, music and more.

“The Nateland Company is committed to producing high-quality content that inspires and entertains while upholding values of respect, kindness and inclusivity,” Bargatze said about his new adventure. “With a focus on laughter, heartwarming stories and relatable characters, we aim to foster meaningful connections and provide positive experiences that families can enjoy together.”

To kick things off, The Nateland Company is debuting Nateland Presents: The Showcase, a series that spotlights a diverse array of up-and-coming comics. Directed by Bargatze himself, the show, hosted by Dusty Slay, Aaron Weber and Brian Bates, was taped at Nashville’s Zanies Comedy Club and will be available on YouTube, as well as in audio form through a partnership with Audioboom. The series will feature a rotating cast of comedians.

Additionally, Bargatze’s company has already produced three full-length comedy specials, including Mike Vecchione’s The Attractives, Greg Warren’s The Salesman, and Joe Zimmerman’s Cult Classic. And there are more in the pipeline.

In 2021, Bargatze spoke with RELEVANT about how he uses his humor and comedy to bring people together, especially in difficult times.

“People just need a break,” he said. “Everything’s too serious, everything’s political or whatever. It’s blending too much in our regular lives.

“Humor is just making fun of a situation,” he continued. But humor is what gets people through a lot of things.”
