The company announced they’re releasing specials by high-profile comedians as they continue competing to beat out major TV and film competitors. They’re hoping the investment in multi-million dollar contracts, like say the $100 million to Jerry Seinfeld for a full-series of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee or the cool $40 million paid to Chris Rock for 2 specials, will return dividends in their entertainment media takeover.
That’s at least 1-hour of your weekend covered with new comedy content. Whatever you do with the rest of your hours vegging is up to you.
