Watch: Peacock’s New Show ‘Mrs. Davis’ Explores Faith Versus Technology

The fight between faith and technology is at an all-time high in the first trailer for Peacock’s new series “Mrs. Davis.”

In a world seemingly overrun by a mysterious, all-knowing AI named “Mrs. Davis,” one nun (Betty Gilpin) named Simone, who has the power to withstand evil technology, goes on an epic quest to find the Holy Grail and destroy the AI once and for all.

Damon Lindelof (“Lost,” “Watchmen”) will direct the sci-fi series, which is described as “an exploration of faith versus technology — an epic battle of biblical and binary proportions.”

Gilpin is joined by Jake McDorman, David Arquette, Elizabeth Marvel, Andy McQueen, Ben Chaplin, Margo Martindale and Katja Herbers.

The first four episodes of will be released on Peacock April 20, with four more episodes to follow weekly on Thursdays.
