It looks like the Kickstarter-funded Veronica Mars will hit theaters a lot sooner than expected. The movie adaptation of the cult favorite show is slated for a nationwide release in March, just one year after filmmaker Rob Thomas and actress Kristen Bell launched a Kickstarter campaign—that brought in nearly $6 million—to raise money for the production. Anticipation for the movie has been so high that Warner Bros. has decided to forgo plans to distribute the movie in a limited release and video on demand, and has announced that instead, it will be seen in theaters around the country.
