
There is some tragic news out of the South Sudan this morning. A military spokesman in the African country has said that between 200 and 300 people have died when the ferry they were traveling on sank in the Nile River. According to some reports, most of the victims were women and children fleeing violence that has gripped the young country. The U.N. says that nearly 350,000 people in South Sudan have been displaced by the on-going conflict between government forces and rebels in major cities.
