It’s stories like this that make you question humanity. City officials have shut down a bacon restaurant in San Francisco, fittingly called “Bacon Bacon”. Its crime: Bacon Bacon smelled too much like bacon. Neighbors of Bacon Bacon complained that a “porcine aroma” had taken over the neighborhood, and that the smell of sizzling bacon had become inescapable. Sure, the owner is also accused of “dumping bacon grease into open sewers,” and maybe he did refuse a “new, free air filter” when it was “offered to him by his neighbors,” but the man is operating a busy restaurant here.
