
A few months back, a group of researchers at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics made an announcement that rocked the astronomy community: They had found new evidence seemingly suggesting the method of the “Big Bang.” Now though, after further research into the findings, scientists aren’t as enthusiastic. The New York Times says that fellow researchers believe the team “misread” satellite images, and what they believed was “primordial gravitational waves” proving the Big Bang, was actually caused by clouds of space dust.
