
In a new video released today, a group of girls—purported to be the Nigerian school girls kidnapped on April 15—all wear dark hijabs, and, are seen “reciting the Quran as they make Islamic declarations of faith.” In the video, the leader of Boko Haram, the terrorist group who is holding the 276 girls in eastern Nigeria, says that they been converted to Islam since their abduction. Abubakar Shekau also tells authorities that he is willing to return the girls in exchange for prisoners.
