Good News: Doctors Say All Boston Bombing Patients Likely to Survive

After the sadness today’s funeral for Krystle Campbell, the first of three funerals of those killed in the Boston City bombing, there was some very good news from Boston’s hospitals today. Of the 180 some people who were brought to the hospital following the attacks on the Boston Marathon, 100% are expected to survive. This is some very good news from Massachusetts doctors, who’ve been working around the clock to ensure the survival of their patients. It’ll be a hard road ahead for the many people who lost legs in the blast, and a few victims who had internal bleeding and brain injuries, but doctors have very high hopes that they’ll pull through.”All I feel is joy,” said Dr. George Velmahos, chief of trauma surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. “Whoever came in alive, stayed alive” …
