New evidence has turned up—and been verified by third party officials—that the IRS wasn’t just after Tea Party groups who were applying for tax exempt status. They also flagged groups with words in their name like “progressive” and “occupy.” And, for good measure, they also scrutinized groups that advocated for things like legalizing marijuana and open-source software.
