If you’ve ever wanted to take part in a running of the bulls, but couldn’t make it to Pamplona, Spain, a new event that will be making its way across America will let you experience the insanity without an international trip. Runners who want to participate in an American company’s version of the bull run will first have to buy insurance and sign a waiver, absolving race organizers of responsibility for any injuries sustained while being chased by an massive, angry, wild animal. Also, unlike the Spanish event, the run takes place on a closed course with built-in safe zones, participants aren’t allowed to taunt the bulls and the bulls’ horns have been dulled. The American bulls also won’t be killed in a bullfight after the event is over. This kind of makes all of those creative 5Ks suddenly seem less exciting.
