One in Three Americans Think Aliens Are Already Walking Among Us

Does it ever feel like you’re talking to someone from a different planet? Well, maybe you are. At least that’s what many Americans are thinking these days.

A new poll found that 37% of American adults believe aliens are already on Earth living in disguise as humans. In fact, many feel like they know exactly who the aliens are: 39% suspect their current boss, while a third feel believe that certain celebrities are too out of this world to be from Earth (we’re onto you, Tilda Swinton).

Between sightings of 10-foot tall beings in Brazil to the “extraterrestrial corpses” found in Peru, there’s been widespread speculation about our intergalactic neighbors. The poll, conducted by Talker Research, found that 53% of Americans believe in the existence of aliens, while 34% still need some more convincing. Perhaps they should schedule a one-on-one with their boss to figure it all out.

Or they could look at what government officials have to say about the matter. In July, a former U.S. intelligence officer with the Pentagon confirmed that aliens were real and the government had been researching “non-human bodies” for decades.
