
Scientists in Kenya have found a massive aquifer so large that it could provide the people of Kenya with clean water for the next 70 years. The underground reserve was found using special radar and geological technology and holds nine times as much water as all of the countries current reserves, combined. Because droughts are so common in the region, and access to clean water is often a major challenge in parts of the country, the discovery could change thousands of lives.
