You’ve Got to See This Worship Band Guitarist’s Footwork

Sometimes you’re singing a worship song and you can’t help but dance (unless you’re Baptist). The Spirit gets moving and the rhythm starts pounding and you’ve just got to move. At least, that’s how one guitarist felt during his worship team’s practice set.

The video from 2016 is making a new round, probably because it’s just so hilarious and heartwarming. In the video, the band is playing “Oh Happy Day” but it’s the guitarist’s happy feet in the back that steal the spotlight. His kicks, his spins, his bows — this man is ready to light up Broadway after repeating the chorus three more times. What makes it even better is the rest of the team seems unfazed by his dancing antics, which leads us to believe this is likely the norm for him. More to power to him. More power to all of them.

Even though this is just a glimpse of their worship set, we’d like to believe the guitarist is dancing like David on stage every single week.
