Dutch Don't Know Meaning of Easter

A slim majority of Dutch nationals know that Easter is a Christian holiday. A survey showed that only 55 percent know the significance of Easter. The survey also found that only 15 percent knew that Good Friday commemorated Jesus’ crucifixion. By comparison, 86 percent of Americans polled correctly explained the significance of Easter.
