It what sounds like more of a monumental gaffe than an out-and-out religious statement, a Costco in California last week was forced to apologize after a local pastor noticed that Bibles had been marked with tags that read “Fiction.” He tweeted a photo of it, and things went a little bananas, with many Christians crying “foul,” religious skeptics tweeting their support and Costco itself backpedalling from what they called a “mistake.” They’ve re-labeled the Bibles in question (the pastor who caught the error in the first place tweeted a very gracious reply) …
