Warren Buffet is leading a new, free online course that will teach students how to give money away. The Berkshire Hathaway founder has famously pledged to give away nearly all of his $58 billion fortune and wants to instill philanthropic principles into other successful students. The Giving With Purpose course, which already has more than 4,000 students enrolled, is based on a popular college class in which students learn how to identify charities that align with their values and make sure their donations are put to good use. At the end of the class, the students will collectively decide where $100,000 (donated by Warren’s sister Doris Buffett) will be given to.
