Democrat legislators are working with the Obama administration on a new bill that could essentially undo the Supreme Court’s decision in the Hobby Lobby case. The court recently ruled that “closely held” (non-publically traded) businesses with specific religious convictions did not have to pay for contraceptive coverage for their employees that they find objectionable under the Affordable Care Act. The new bill, being drafted by Congressional Democrats, would only provide the exemption to churches, houses of worship and religious non-profits. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called the, the Hobby Lobby decision “outrageous,” adding, “We’re going to do something about it. People are going to have to walk down here and vote, and if they vote with the five men on the Supreme Court, I think they’re going to be treated unfavorably come November with the elections” …
