A chiropractor in Michigan purchased a McDonald’s hamburger and a chicken taco from Taco Bell in early 2013 and has left them sitting in her office ever since. After two years, the meals—which are still on display—look remarkably similar to the day they were bought. Not only is there no mold or decomposition, but according to Jessica Freed, bugs won’t even go near them. She told Business Insider, “Fast food is just terrible for you. We are showing our patients that it won’t mold and even the bugs won’t touch it.” On their website however, McDonald’s counters the claim that something strange is happening, saying, “You might have seen experiments which seem to show no decomposition in our food.
