The Associated Press reports at least 31 people were killed in snow-storm related deaths over the weekend. The deaths range from car accidents to cardiac arrest from shoveling snow to carbon monoxide poisoning. New York City received a record 26.6 inches of snow in Central Park and a mind-blowing 30.1 inches at JFK International Airport. West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania kept the theme of upward of 30 inches of snowfall, and coastal towns in New Jersey and Delaware were hit with icy waters that reached levels higher than that of 2012’s Hurricane Sandy. The U.S. Office of Emergency Management said airlines canceled more than 800 flights Sunday, and all federal offices in Washington will be closed Monday.
