On his personal Twitter, Daniel Kwan thanked audiences for bringing the film back to theaters again.
We’ve loved seeing all of your stories about your experience watching the film in a crowded theater and are just happy that more people might have the opportunity to share in that experience.
Whether it’s your 1st or 31st time watching it, I hope you get something out of it.

This is the third time EEAAO will return to theaters. After premiering back in March 2022, the film was re-released over the summer with an additional eight minutes of bonus footage and an introduction from Daniels.
EEAAO is one of the major frontrunners for this year’s Oscars. It’s up for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress (Michelle Yeoh), Best Supporting Actor (Ke Huy Quan), Best Supporting Actress (Jamie Lee Curtis and Stephanie Hsu), Best Original Screenplay, Best Film Editing, Best Original Song (“This Is a Life”), Best Music and Best Costume Design.
