Seven iconic Japanese animation studios have been recruited by Disney to tell stories from Star Wars universe in their own unique style. Now, the anime anthology series is landing on Disney+ as Star Wars: Visions, and the trailer is a lot to take in.
The series will be available in both English and Japanese, featuring the voice talents of Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bobby Moynihan, Temuera Morrison, Shelby Young, Karen Fukuhara, Simu Liu, Masi Oka, David Harbour, Henry Golding, Jamie Chung, George Takei and tons more.
“Their stories showcase the full spectrum of bold storytelling found across Japanese animation; each told with a freshness and voice that expands our understanding of what a Star Wars story can be, and celebrates a galaxy that has been such an inspiration to so many visionary storytellers,” said executive producer James Waugh in a statement.
