But as the parents of one five-year-old recently found out, it doesn’t take long for an unattended kid to rack up a serious bill in the App store. The child’s parents say that in less than 15 minutes, little Danny bought $2,500 worth of add-ons in the game. It wasn’t until the following day when her credit card company contacted her about suspicious activity that Danny’s mother found out about her son’s ambitious gaming purchases. Fortunately for Danny and the family, Apple ended up refunding the full amount and also gave them a free lesson in iPad parental controls. No word if Danny was able to set the new high score or not …
