Brad Pitt’s production company, Plan B, is a hot item after taking home this year’s Best Picture Oscar for 12 Years a Slave, and it looks like they just snagged their next project. They’ve purchased the film rights to David Kushner’s Anonymous VS. Steubenville story, which was published in an issue of Rolling Stone last year. The article follows the tragic sexual assault of two teenagers at a high school party, and the ensuing coverup by school administrators and city officials. That coverup was blown by Internet hacking collective Anonymous, who brought national attention to the case and its coverup which—according to Kushner—directly resulted in charges.
